Airbus delivered 63 aircraft and added 203 aircraft to its order book. Orders are performing well, and the book-to-bill ratio has improved.
They welcomed new customers, LOT Polish Airlines, with an order for 40 A220s and AviLease with an order for 10 A350F freighters and 30 #A320neo Family aircraft.
Delivery rates is the number to watch. 311 YTD for half the year, woefully behind the number to meet the 820 target. That means six months to deliver 509 or 85 per month. We don’t see it happening and expect a revision around the end of the 3Q25. Remember, August is a holiday month, so that monthly number is likely higher.
The key item here is the A321, as this is the most delivered model, and the new FAL in Toulouse needs to be up and running quickly. A321s account for 52% of YTD orders and 54% of deliveries.
A220 deliveries were surprisingly good at 12, which is close to the target of 14.
