Congratulations to Embraer, whose E-Jet series hit the 1,000 order milestone today at the Paris Air Show with a four new orders for the E-190. Â Kenya Airways ordered 10 E-190s, Air Lease Corporation ordered 5 E-190s, GECAS ordered 2 E-190s, and Air Astana 2 E-190s, for a total of 19 new orders. Â Embraer now has 60 airline customers in 40 countries worldwide for its E-Jet series.
The E-Jet family hit the 1,000 order plateau in less than seven years since EIS, making it the best selling aircraft in the 70-100 seat category.
