Embraer delivered its 500th Phenom 300 aircraft this week, becoming only the fourth business jet model to reach 500 deliveries. Â The Phenom 300 joins the Gulfstream G550, Bombardier Challenger 300/350, and Cessna Citation II in that category.
The Phenom 300 has become the leader in the light jet category, and provides higher speeds and longer range than its competition. Â Michael Amalfitano, President of Embraer Executive Jets, stated “the Phenom 300 has fascinated customers since it entered the market and its tremendous popularity only challenges us even more to continue to deliver the ultimate customer experience.”
The Phenom 300 has a six-passenger range of 1,971 nm on NBAA IFR reserves, and a high speed cruise of 453 knots.  It first entered service in 2009, and is now in service in more than 300 countries.  The fleet has accumulated more than 800,000 flight hours on over 600,000 flights.  “This landmark delivery to a current Phenom 100 customer with prior fractional ownership experience further validates the true innovation that the Phenom 300 delivers to private owners, corporations, and operators in the access economy,” said Amalfitano.
The Phenom 300 has been the market leader in its category for the last seven consecutive years.
