The recent emergence of CRJ450 sparked a lot of industry chatter.  The thinking among most industry analysts and observers is that the 50-seat regional jet is obsolete.  Its economics don’t work anymore, and that is why nobody makes them anymore. We along comes the CRJ460, with less than 50 seats – what is going on?
