GAMA, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, has released its third quarter shipments and billings for the industry. The overall results for the industry are positive, showing a recovery in fixed wing aircraft to surpass 2019 billings on an inflation-adjusted basis for the first time in five years. Rotary wing aircraft surpassed that level quickly in 2020, and remain positive for 2024, with monotonically increasing billings, even when adjusted for inflation, over the period 2019-2024.
