Airbus management is transitioning from Tom Enders reign as CEO to Guillaume Faury. Enders wanted to hand over the company without issues, having bitten the bullet on the A380 program, received a 300 aircraft order from China, and approved preliminary work on two or three new models that could be potentially introduced at the upcoming Paris Air Show.

But the shadow of a bribery scandal is overshadowing this transition, and Der Spiegel has reported on a French investigation into an Egyptian bribery scandal involving a consulting firm that allegedly may have been used for payoffs.
