News reports out of India indicate that IndiGo, which has had inflight shut-down problems with the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine, may be improperly operating the engines. Go Airlines, the other Indian LCC using the GTF, is not experiencing similar issues, nor are other users of the GTF.
The difference in operational procedures has drawn the attention of Indian regulators, who looked into how IndiGo flew the airplanes with full thrust right after takeoff rather than throttle back to an alt-climb setting.
