Gary Scott is President of Bombardier Aerospace and provides a summary of his speech at ISTAT. He was direct, but polite. Despite the naysayers Mr Scott is confident in his team and their product. As he puts it, they have the best airplane in the segment, period. It is the only optimized option and this makes it the most compelling option. It will come to market before anything else – including re-engine options or new airplanes. The CSeries sports the features that make it a “game changer” and the airplane is about to become a reality. The pre-production parts have been made, tested and proven. The new revolutionary engine is beating its targets. Bombardier’s confidence appears well placed.
