The launch customer for the Bombardier Challenger 3500 was announced Monday at NBAA-BACE, just a few weeks after the program was launched. Les Goldberg, CEO of Entertainment Technology Partners, is trading his Challenger 350 for the new model. The Challenger 3500 offers new high-end interior features, including the Nuage seat and sustainable interior features.
Bombardier President and CEO Eric Martel stated “What better way to celebrate our newest business jet than to showcase our beautiful interior mockup and to be joined by Mr. Goldberg” Martel was excited to unveil the launch customer for the company’s latest product at NBAA.
The Challenger 3500 recently received a firm order from an unnamed customer for 20 aircraft. A mock-up of the cabin is on display, along with the Global 6500 and Global 7500 on the static display at NBAA-BACE.
Sustainability is a central theme this year as the industry continues to reduce its carbon footprint. “As the industry gathers to promote concrete action on sustainability, Bombardier is an important voice,” Mr. Martel said. “We continue to demonstrate our leadership, through initiatives including Environmental Product Declarations, sustainably-minded innovations for our new Challenger 3500 aircraft, and a long-standing leadership role in the promotion of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).”
