In a potentially disruptive move, two European regional airlines are joining forces. The combined fleet has critical mass. This will drive down costs and allow for aggressive pricing on wet leases.

It also opens questions about regional jet OEMs. These two airlines held their announcement in the Bombardier tent. Their loyalty to the CRJ program sends a signal.
