Very impressive progress. Everything is powered up and working. It look like they are back on schedule and barring a major glitch it appears they still might make their first flight this year. They have about 3 months for construction and 6 weeks for ground testing so it is doable. Thoughts?
“They have about 3 months for construction and 6 weeks for ground testing so is it doable” you ask.
Air Insight thinks not and they are probably right. Nobody would be surprised if there was a delay of three to six months. Yet I like to believe that they can complete the assembly of both the Static and FTV1 in the next three months. But it is extremely tight even if they don’t encounter any glitches.
So my answer to your question is “yes” and it is based both on an informed opinion and on pure faith!
@Bombardier_Aero just twitted(twatted?) “Exciting time here, CSeries aircraft parts arriving, stay tuned for more pics soon!”
