It appears Airbus has started to get engines at better rates and is moving aircraft out of the FALs and into service.  But what does this mean in terms of the fleet in service and outstanding orders?  We developed these charts to look at the active and on-order aircraft by model.  The first chart reflects the production at Airbus to date and excludes the backlog which is being loaded as slots open up.  This data suggest things are going rather smoothly at Airbus and reflects better than media coverage would suggest.
