ACIA Aero Leasing is becoming a growing provider of regional aircraft leasing and lease management services.  The firm announced two new lessees, Fly LeOne in Italy and NXT Air in Bangladesh. The lessor continues to expand its customer base in major markets across the world. ACIA is growing its footprint and presence in the midst of the pandemic.

The Italian customer is a start-up named Fly LeOne and took delivery of a Beechcraft 1900D, which the carrier will operate on direct routes between Italy’s underserved regional airports and Mediterranean tourist destinations in addition to connecting small city pairings within the country.

NXT Air is the second customer and took delivery of an ATR-72 freighter, which will enable the Bangladeshi operator to significantly ramp up its capacity to carry goods for group company partners. ACIA has a history of converting ATRs to freighters using its own STC.  ACIA also delivered several ATRs to Nigerian start-up Green Africa, clearly raising the ACIA profile with ATR. These deals follow a recent deal in Mexico, underscoring the ACIA’s team’s focus on doing deals on every continent.

ACIA is becoming a lessor that operators consider alongside others like NAC, Falko, and Chorus.
