Meet iProov! iProov won the KPMG 2016 FinTech Innovators Award for Cyber Security and Biometrics.
First, download the iProov Verifier app from the Apple Store or Google Play.- At the top left of the login process on our site you will see the word iProov. Registered premium access readers that want to access content using a tablet, smartphone or camera-equipped laptop, please click on “Enrol with iProov”.
- You then enter your email, and click the iProov button. This will take you through a short process by which iProov will check two things: validate your subscription using your email and then take a picture of your face. After some magic, using lots of colors, the system will register your face as a known user.
Then, going forward, when you access the site from your mobile device, click the iProov link and it will take a picture of you and verify it’s you – and BOOM – you’re logged in.
One click and you’re done.
Nobody else can use your device and access your account. Not even using a picture of your face. So, there a cyber security aspect to this process too.
