We are two weeks away from yearend; how are Airbus and Boeing doing on deliveries? Take a look at the chart. The red arrows show the past two Decembers, and the yellow shows where we are now.  It looks like a tough hill to climb, right?

Our model breaks down the duopoly numbers. It will be tough to meet the targets.  As we have seen in previous years, the FALs are getting hammered.

Fortunately for Boeing, it has a large pool of parked MAXs to draw from as airlines grab opportunities.  Also, note how much Boeing benefits from the freighter business – and we didn’t include the military deliveries. This is an area where Airbus is significantly behind.

A final chart to share. This is December deliveries through the 15th. The duopoly’s critical mass is overwhelming.
