Challenger 350
Bombardier is celebrating the delivery of the 350th Challenger 350 aircraft, which was introduced six years ago and remains the best selling super mid-sized jet for six years in a row. Â Introduced at EBACE 2013, the aircraft entered service in 2014 and the fleet has accumulated more than 648,000 flight hours and more than 383,000 landings.
Peter Likoray, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Bombardier, stated “The 350th delivery of a Challenger 350 aircraft, reached after only six years in service, speaks volumes. Â This achievement shows the great confidence customers place in this aircraft and demonstrates Bombardier’s production proficiency and strong supplier base.”
Since its introduction, Bombardier has added enhancements to the aircraft, including a compact heads-up display, an enhanced vision system (EVS), increased cabin soundproofing, and new cockpit aesthetics. Â An optional performance improvement package enables the aircraft to fly up to 1,500 nautical miles farther from short runways, complimenting its steep-approach capabilities for airports like London City.Â
The Challenger 350 has a full fuel and seats range of 3,200 nautical miles, enabling non-stop operations from New York to London or Paris to Dubai with the lowest direct operating costs in its category.
