Fractional ownership company Flexjet became the first North American fleet customer for the new Gulfstream G700.  The G700 will join Flexjet’s existing fleet that includes the G650ER, G500, and G450 models from Gulfstream.

Ken Ricci, Chairman of Flexjet, stated “the Gulfstream G700, with its speed, range, and versatility, will make an exceptional fractional offering.  We anticipate that it will be ideally suited for those companies that need occasional access to global markets and will be the pinnacle of our Red Label offering.  It will be the fifth large-cabin aircraft type in the fleet as we continue our international expansion.”

The G700 can fly 7,500 nm at Mach 0.85 or 6,400 nm at Mach 0.90.  The G700 has the tallest, widest, and longest cabin in the industry, and offers up to five living areas on board.  The aircraft includes and “ultragalley” with more than 10 feet of counter space, a six-place conference or dining table, and offers a master bedroom with an en-suite bath with a shower and wardrobe closet.

Mark Burns, Gulfstream President, stated “Flexjet’s customers have become accustomed to the unparalleled Gulfstream cabin experience.  The G700 perfectly complements their existing Gulfstream fleet and combines the best of what we do – performance, innovation, and comfort – with the largest cabin in the industry and the most advanced technology.”
