Lufthansa to purchase 100 plus new narrow-bodies

In one of the most interesting competitions of 2019, Deutsche Lufthansa plans to acquire a triple-digit number of either Boeing 737MAX or Airbus A320neo aircraft for fleet expansion. The winner of this competition will be announced early next year. A 3 digit order will add more than $1 Billion in backlog to one of the OEMs at list prices.
