Notes:
- The first five months’ deals point to lower volumes than last year, perhaps fewer than 2,000 deals. That would be ~10% less.
- Boeing’s production hampers its deals: 134 A321neo and 107 A320neo vs 99 MAX 8s and nine MAX 9s.
New Deliveries
Here is our estimate for May 2024 new deliveries, as opposed to transactions that include military and previously owned aircraft. Our numbers are estimates based on daily deliveries; the OEMs likely will report their numbers next week.
- Boeing’s delivery situation is dire—how else can one put it? Pricing and budgets were built around higher production rates than we are seeing.
