Changing Behavior to Improve Fuel Burn

The story that caught our eye is this one.   The Virgin Atlantic experiment took eight months and produced over 110,000 observations that allowed Signol to guide pilots to improve their flying. The outcome was over $6m in fuel savings.  Changing pilot behavior led to improved fuel burn.
