The first of two VIP SSJ100 aircraft ordered by the Thai government have arrived in Zhukovsky near Moscow for their customizing. The aircraft with serial number 95093 has obtained a temporary Russian registration 97015. The second aircraft (95095) is preparing for the first flight from Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
The customer will receive both aircraft in LR version (Sukhoi Superjet 100LR increased with a range of 1530NM or 4578 km). The aircraft delivery to the customer is expected by September 2016 and the customization works are performed by VEMINA Aviaprestige.
Vitaly Romaniuk, CEO of VEMINA Aviaprestige said that customers in Thailand who are usually among the top European customers prefer the interior rather conservative. Customization is performed at the manufacturing plant in Zhukovsky near Moscow. VEMINA Aviaprestige will deliver customers four aircraft SSJ fully equipped this year. Two planes for SFS Russia, the customer will receive the corporate version. Russian Emergencies Ministry planes will get the so-called mixed version, which allows you to quickly establish a medical unit.
