December 21st saw a US air traffic spike.  This is most welcome to the beleaguered airline industry.

True its the holiday season. But the CDC does not want people traveling.  Several states have quarantine rules.

But consumers seem to have had enough of Covid, and 2020, for that matter. It would seem the travel and health risks are seen as manageable among a lot of Americans. The arrival of the vaccine may be giving people confidence – even though very few are going to be able to access it for much of 2021.

Let’s hope there’s no health spike matching the travel spike coming in January.
