An airline startup in 2020? Meet South Africa’s Lift.

How about doing an airline startup in the midst of the worst pandemic? It sounds crazy. But not to everyone. 

Gidon Novick, a co-founder, comes from a family with deep roots in South Africa’s airline market. He personally has a lot of airline industry experience.   The current crisis is, in his view, a great time to start an airline: lots of great talent to be found, no stress finding aircraft, and fuel is cheaper than ever.
