Let’s look at the financial results of Azul Linhas Aereas in 2021. The Brazilian operator finished the year as the top domestic airline surpassing LATAM and GOL Linhas Aereas, although feeling the pressure from LATAM as the company recovered faster in the final quarter of 2021. Being the sole competitor in most of its routes helped Azul close the year with more operating revenues in the fourth quarter than in the same period in 2019.
