The Backlog Gap between Airbus and Boeing remains quite substantial in the third quarter of 2021, with Airbus having amassed a substantial lead. This will likely translate into higher volumes and higher earnings for Airbus until the next generation of aircraft is introduced in the 2030 time frame.
