The last day of the first quarter brought three first flights of new aircraft – the Boeing 787-10, the Airbus A319neo, and the Antonov An-132D.
The Boeing 787-10 successfully completed its maiden flight today in Charleston, South Carolina. Â Boeing provided a webcast of the event, which can be seen here. Â More details can be found here.
The Airbus A319neo also successfully completed its maiden flight today in Toulouse, France. Â This A319 was powered by the CFM International LEAP engine, and the aircraft is also offered with the Pratt and Whitney GTF. Â More details can be found here.

It would appear that several manufacturers wanted to complete first flights in the first quarter of the year, which ends today.  Three major first flights in a single day is quite unusual – what a day for aviation!
Great day in aviation, indeed!
Also, the new format of the AirInsight website is terrible preferred the old one…
