In conversation: The current situation in Russia’s commercial aviation sector

We spoke with Oleg Evdokimov, who is currently in Russia and is a Russian aviation expert. Our conversation was constrained – we could not use certain words or language for his personal security.  To be clear, traffic to our site from Russia has spiked and we have no interest in creating problems for a guest.  Oleg provided color from a side of the conflict we in the west are not hearing much about.  These are very tough times for commercial aviation in Russia as you can imagine – Oleg mentions some 700 pilots being out of work over the past week.
