On June 8, Irkut Corporation (a member of UAC) will conduct the official ceremony of roll-out of the first MC-21 aircraft designated for flight tests.
As Mr Oleg Demchenko, the President of Irkut Corporation emphasizes, “Construction of the first aircraft is the significant milestone of the MC-21 program. We are looking forward to greet at Irkutsk Aviation Plant delegations of our partners, current and prospective customers, representatives of federal and regional authorities.”
This is a big moment for Russia’s commercial aerospace industry. After many delays the program is moving forward.
