A 15 month survey by the Netherlands authorities established that the crash of MH17 was caused by a Russian-made missile launched from the Russian/Ukraine theater of war which killed all 298 passengers board. The findings by the Dutch Safety Board will be revealed tomorrow.
Dutch researchers have come to conclusions by analyzing the wreckage, the statements of the separatists, and images of a Buk missile launcher in the area and telephone intelligence. They concluded that the separatist rebels, using weapons supplied by Russia, hit the Boeing 777, thinking it was a Ukrainian warplane .
However, Almaz-Antey, the manufacturer of Buk missiles , says it will announce “its version” tomorrow.

I am curious how they concluded who fired the missile. Both sides had the weapon. Maybe the Ukrainians thought it was a Russian recon mission. In either case it was an error and under the laws of war, those people were collateral damage. The real crime was not closing the airspace over a conflict zone where planes were being shot down. THAT was criminal negligence.
Allowing the plane clearance over a war zone is clearly intent to lure the enemy to fire, then face the accusations.
