Qantas Airways Limited has placed an order with Airbus for 36 A321XLR, 10 of which are new orders and 26 converted from prior orders. The aircraft will be used by both Qantas and JetStar, the low cost carrier in Qantas Group.
The A321XLR will enable the carriers to improve their network and fleet flexibility to better serve point-to-point markets in Australia, Asia and the South Pacific.
