If your design gets copied by one of your competitors, you must have done something right. Archer CEO Adam Goldstein said on X he felt “flattered” when he saw the Supernal S-A2 eVTOL this week. The aircraft that the subsidiary of Korean powerhouse Hyundai unveiled on Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas has a striking similarity to the Archer Midnight.

Supernal says that its designers joined forces with those from the Hyundai Motor Group to define the aesthetics (“Blending design with functionality”). The result is a vehicle that adopts the same sharp-nosed cabin and V-tail as the Archer.
