Dubai Aerospace Completes Placement Of 737 MAX In Aeromexico

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced on January 19 that it has successfully completed the placement of 14 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, including 12 with Mexican carrier Grupo Aeromexico. The order was placed with Boeing in April last year. Icelandair will receive the other two MAX units. DAE Completes Placement Of 737 MAX In Aeromexico.

Last year, Aeromexico modified its original order with Boeing for B737 MAX units as part of its Chapter 11 proceedings in the United States. As a recap: Aeromexico had an original order for 60 B737 MAX -8s and -9s. When the pandemic started in 2020, Aeromexico had only received six MAX units and had unfilled orders for 54 aircraft. 

Today, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd announced that it had successfully completed the placement of 14 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, including 12 with Mexican carrier Grupo Aeromexico. The order was placed with Boeing in March last year. Icelandair received the other two MAX units.
