De Havilland Canada has quietly had perhaps the most successful Dubai airshow of any manufacturer, signing 37 orders for the Dash-8-400 aircraft.  Eleven additional orders on Tuesday included Aurora for 5, The Republic of Ghana for 6, and ACIA Aero Capital for 3.  These new orders followed Monday’s commitment from lessor Palma Holding for 20 aircraft to open the show.

Since the buyout from Longview Aviation Capital, the Dash 8 has returned to its original name, the Dash-8-400 and the management team has focused on closing new transactions and increasing the backlog and customer base.
