Gulfstream announced several performance improvements for the Gulfstream G700 business jet. After validation through extensive flight testing, improvements include longer range, faster speed, and lower cabin altitude.
The G700 range has increased to 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm at M0.90, an increase of 250nm over initial projections. The G700’s maximum operating speed has also increased from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935, making it the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream fleet.
The cabin altitude for the G700, already the lowest in business aviation, has been further reduced to 2,840 ft. at 41,000 ft. Each of these incremental performance improvements solidifies the G700 as a very strong competitor at the top of the market.
