January Transactions

January 2024 is an “iffy” transaction period compared to the same month since 2017.

Here’s the updated model. Subscribers can access the 14-page version.

Notes:

• Probably the most interesting data point is COMAC which made 8 deliveries in January. All were ARJs.
• 26 MAX8s traded compared to 15 A320neos.  But there were also 18 A321neos that were traded with no MAX 9s.
• The top traders for the month were China Southern and Malta Air with five, United with four.
• With China now taking MAXs again, the country saw 26 trades of all model types
