We spoke with Brian J. Terwilliger about his movie.
We don’t often review films at AirInsight, but once a film of interest to the aviation community arrives that is worth reviewing. Â That film is Living in the Age of Airplanes, produced and directed by noted documentarian Brian J. Terwilliger. Â This film, currently being shown at large-format IMAX theaters, will be released later this month (circa Oct. 25th) on Blue Ray, DVD and iTunes. Â This 47 minute film took six years to complete, and has spectacular footage from around the globe.
The movie was filmed in 18 countries on all 7 continents, and is narrated by our fellow aviator and enthusiast Harrison Ford. Â It also features an original soundtrack from Oscar willing composer James Horner, who also scored Titanic and Avatar. Â For aviation enthusiasts, this is a must see, putting into perspective how far we’ve come in the last century and the impact aviation has on all of our lives.
