Summer air travel is coming to the US and it is a very good idea to plan accordingly. The industry news isn’t great – what with staffing shortages and schedules being cut back. The great travel bounceback is racing headlong into shrinking capacity, which along with spiking fuel prices, is going to drive fares much higher than they’ve been.
There’s not much any of us can do to fix these items. But we can plan flights in such a way to ensure the most on-time experience. We updated our travel planner through March 2022. That said, you can see previous years to get an idea of how consistent schedules are. Remember the key rule “Take the earliest flight. ALWAYS”.

Then the data bug got me, making me a curious Avgeek seeking data-driven logic. Also, I appreciate conversations with smart people from whom I learn so much. Summary: I am very fortunate to work with and converse with great people.
