News broke today that Mitsubishi is in talks with Bombardier about acquiring the CRJ program that has been confirmed.  Having shared ideas on this topic with our subscribers four months ago, we understand the logic and benefits behind this combination, which is a win-win situation.

This is a win for Bombardier, which decided to exit the commercial aircraft business to focus on its profitable business jet division, and for Mitsubishi, which acquires customer relationships, a global customer support network, and service and support business for the fleet of CRJs currently in operation.
