Japan Airlines (JAL) has shared extensive details of the cabin products on board the new Airbus A350-1000, which will become the new flagship of the airline. JAL had hoped to introduce the type on the Tokyo Haneda-New York JFK route in November, but this has now slipped until the end of the year “due to a supply chain disruption affecting the delivery of components.”
Japan Airlines has thirteen A350-1000s on order, with the type gradually replacing the Boeing 777-300ER on the international network. This comes with an upgrade in customer experience through various new cabin products that include seats, meals, and inflight entertainment.
