Premium #176 – Our Assessment and Thoughts: The PAS in Review

This year’s Paris Air Show was expected by many industry followers to be a quiet event. No mega orders were expected, but Boeing did win one mega-order for 100 MAXs from AerCap.  The typical big sources of news were tamping down expectations. By the show’s end there were some decent sized orders but from a breaking news perspective, it was business as usual.

However, there were several undercurrents that we observed that warrant more attention as leading indicators.
