At the recent IATA AGM, United’s COO Andrew Nocella shared a concern with Flight Global.  Essentially United needs to replace two types by the end of the decade – the 757-300 and the 50-seat RJ.

The concern expressed is not as much of a problem for other airlines and therefore, United is in a quandary.  United’s problem is not a problem for others nearly as much which leaves United high and dry.  Or does it?
